Baking ANZAC biscuits

ANZAC biscuits were baked by wives and womens' groups to send to the soldiers who went to war. They use ingredients that do not "spoil" easily and the biscuits kept well for the long journey on ships. We made ANZAC biscuits to remember the brave men and women who went to war. We all took turns to add the ingredients into the bowl and then stir them.

Then we rolled the mixture into balls to make our own biscuit.

They tasted so yummy!
