The Christmas Story Nativity scene play. |
Welcome to our blog! We are a class of Year 1 and 2 students at Paparore school in the Far North. Our teachers are Mrs Hammond and Mrs Brydon.
Mrs Hammond's voice was feeling strained today....it got so bad this afternoon that we needed to call on some helpers to read our shared book! Thanks Sylvie and Nova for stepping in and giving Mrs Hammond's voice a break. The headset fitted well too.
Today we celebrate the success of our learners in Te Whare Kiwi!
Our school values draw - Sophie, Aria, Alex W, Tairua, Anahera T and Halo.If we fall into the water we should make a huddle and hold onto our mates. |
Always wear a life jacket when you are on a boat, waka, jet-ski, paddle-board or kayak. |
It's very important to wear the right sized life jacket... |
...or will slip right out of it if you fall into the water! |
Raise one hand if you get into difficulty and need help in the water. |
Thank you Whaea Rhonda for teaching us about currents and rips when we are at the beach. |
Congratulations everyone! |
These three have graduated from Te Kakano. They have grown from seeds into seedlings! |
Welcome to Te Pihi Sophie, Mila and Shelby! It's great to have you with us! |
Fun in Fairy Land! |
Michele made this Fairy Garden in Lockdown |
Well done all of you! Ka rawe! |
Snowy stayed at Michele's for the night and he had seen his cousin in the supermarket! |
He gave each of us a treat! Yum...Bluebird's the word!! Thanks Michele & Snowy! |
First we coloured in the tree trunk. |
Then we painted green grass on the bottom. |
Next we used brocolli to stamp pink and white paint on to make the blossoms. |
