Handwriting
Wow! Who would've thought that you could practise handwriting with your iPad?! Today's letter was x: "Fix-it Max". We used the Letterland programme on our iPads to listen to the sound the letter makes, write the letter with our finger and we listened to the story/song about the Letterland character "Fix-it Max." The students were absolutely engrossed in their digital learning and they produced beautiful handwriting in their books afterwards. Ka pa to mahi, Te Pihi class!

Swimming
Te Pihi students had fun today playing with the new pool noodles! They discovered how use them to float, blow water out of and pretend they were a horse to ride on! Lots of fun on a warm day.
